Ever wondered what it would be like to work at a local craft winery and cider house?

Georgian Hills Vineyards is a VQA certified small craft producer of wines and ciders grown locally in the Beaver Valley, Blue Mountains. We are one of the original pioneers to plant test sites in our emerging wine region of Georgian Bay and are on a mission to share up and coming cool climate wines with Canadians & visitors alike! On top of that, we also make all of our own cider from apples and pears we’ve been growing for over 100 years here in the Beaver Valley.

As our Brand Ambassador, you will work regular farmers’ markets in our region and promote our line of wines and ciders under the Georgian Hills Vineyards & Ardiel Cider House brands. You will be responsible for set up & take down of a promotional tent, table, marketing supplies & products. You will handle the daily cash reconciliation and end of day reporting for all market sales and be required to submit these to the winery on a weekly basis.

This is a seasonal position that requires work on weekends between May and October 2022. For the right candidate, we can also discuss additional shifts serving at the winery.

Responsibilities:

· Must have reliable vehicle, driver’s license & clean driver’s abstract

· Must have Smart Serve Certification and uphold the standards laid out in our training

· Must be available to work weekends & holidays.

· Must be able to lift 35-50lbs on a regular basis.

Part-time hours: 8-24 per week

COVID-19 considerations:
All customers & staff required to wear masks. Staff must go through COVID-19 screening at the beginning of each shift, as well as weekly rapid testing. All staff must provide proof of full vaccination prior to commencing employment with us.
